NFDC's new package "Cinemas of India" brings back fond and loving memories of a bygone era. I remember these masterpieces from the Doordarshan days. I used to watch them religiously. And those that I had missed on TV, I later caught up with them in various film festivals.
And now after so many years, watching these classics in digitally restored dvds, NFDC has again done a great service to the nation. The collage I created above is my tribute to these bittersweet memories of gone summers...
