With "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola" around us, I salute the one and only Pankaj Kapur, who has conquered the world of theatre, television and films with equal ease and subtlety.
However my first Pankaj Kapur was the carrot-chewing "Karamchand" whose 'Shut Up Kitty' had become a national rage in the enigmatic 80's Doordarshan.
Then came "Phatichar", "Neem Ka Ped" and ofcourse "Zabaan Sambhaal Ke".
And not to forget 'Mussadi Lal' who was somewhat like a personification of the greatest Indian 'Aam Aadmi' in "Office Office"...
